Overview

Job Duties:
1. Prepping ingredients such as chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and preparing sauces according to restaurant standards.
2. Using various cooking methods such as grilling, frying, baking, or sautéing to prepare menu items quickly and efficiently.
3. Ensuring consistency by following established recipes and portion sizes.
4. Using kitchen tools such as ovens, grills, fryers, and mixers safely and efficiently.
5. Preparing and packaging food items in to-go containers, ensuring they are presented well and accurately match the customer’s order.
6. Keeping the cooking area, utensils, and equipment clean and sanitized, following health and safety regulations.
7. Monitoring inventory levels, restocking ingredients, and informing the manager when supplies are low.

Type of employment: full-time, 35 – 40 hours of work per week
Wage: 17.50 per hour

Requirement:
1. High school diploma is required
2. 1-2 years of relevant work experience is required
3. relevant education in culinary is preferred
