Terms of employment: Permanent & Full time Position
Wage: $16.50 to 18.00 per hour for 30-40 hours
Location: 8831 116 St NW Edmonton, AB T6G 1P7
Expected Start Date: ASAP
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Weigh, measure, mix and prep ingredients according to recipes
· Cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods;
· Check the quality of raw and cooked products
· Participate in developing menus, determining the size of food portions when needed
· Estimate expected food consumption and requirement
· Ensure that inventory of supplies is completed regularly, and order items
· Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
· Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers when needed
Work conditions and physical capabilities
· Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods, Physically demanding, Fast-paced environment
Position Requirements and Qualifications
Completion of high school education;
More than 7 months of previous work experience in kitchen settings
Organized, Team player
Flexible work hours
Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend, Flexible hours, To be determined
