Overview

Chura Crescendo is seeking Four (4) Assistant Hairstylists to join the team.

Permanent, Full-time; 30-40 hours per week; $17.00 per hour or 40% commission, whichever is higher. Benefits include extended health and dental, plus bonus available based on sales performance.

Duties:
-Regular hairstyling (shampoo, cut, style, colour, blow-dry, etc.) as well as hairstyling for special occasions such as weddings);
-Analyzing hair and scalp and advising on care tips.

Requirements:
– Must have completed  2 years apprenticeship if no formal hairstylist training or education OR have completed an apprenticeship or college program in hairstyling plus on the job training;
– Previous experience in Japanese wedding hairstyling is an asset;
– Japanese language ability is an asset;
– English Language ability is required.
