Overview

Tsubaki Hair Express is seeking a Head Hairstylist for its Downtown location.

 

Permanent, full-time (30-40 hours per week), $34.62 per hour. Shifts will be scheduled between 10AM and 6PM daily, as needed. Bonus available based on sales performance.

 

Duties include:

 

·      Regular hairstyling (hair trim/cut, style, colour, etc.);

·      Hair styling for special occasions (weddings, etc.);

·      Recommend and sell hair products based on client needs.

 

Requirements:

 

·      Must have completed an apprenticeship program or college program in hairstyling plus on the job training OR have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience if no formal hairstyling training or education;

·      Previous experience in Japanese wedding hairstyling is an asset;

·      English language is required;

·      Japanese language ability is an asset.
