Overview
Vinyltek Windows is looking for an experienced Aluminum Builder to join our team.
This is a permanent, full-time position; 40 hours per week; $28.85 per hour with extended benefits after the probation period.
Standard 8-hour shift for this position could be scheduled between 6AM and 2:30PM, as required.
Duties:
– Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately fabricate and install products;
– Use machinery such as miter saws, shears, and CNC machines to cut and shape aluminum pieces to the required dimensions;
– Perform drilling and punching operations to create holes and slots as needed;
– Operate and maintain various hand tools, power tools, and machinery used in aluminum fabrication;
– Some installation may be required;
– Follow safety protocols , ensuring a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
– Completion of secondary school is required;
– At least 6 months of previous experience in a related field;
– Ability to read a measuring tape, operate hand tools and CNC machinery;
– Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specific instructions and procedures;
– Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted;
– English language ability is required.
