Responsibilities
Tasks
· Clean, sanitize and dry aquaculture equipment before the next use to prevent the introduction of pathogens and disease
· Feed aquaculture stock
· Maintain aquaculture equipment
· Operate aquaculture equipment
· Report stock irregularities to supervisors
· Cull, mark or tag aquaculture stocks
· Transport marine plants to processing plants
· Dig shellfish from shellfish beds
· Assist aquaculture technicians in the operation of fish hatcheries or other aquatic farms
