Wage and hours: $20.5/hr; 30-40 hrs per week

About Us

Wanbon Foods Inc. is a meat wholesaler company established in October of 2018 with the goal of supporting and serving local communities with the most affordably priced and high-quality meat. In order to serve our multi-cultural community better, we carry a variety of meat products such as, beef, port, poultry, offal(organs) and occasionally, exotic meat. Various custom cuts and grinding services are also available upon request.

 

Job Duties

-Grind meats and slice cooked meats using powered grinders and slicing machines

-Cut, weigh, package, label and price meat and meat product for sale

-Inspect the quality of meat, expiry dates and ensure proper product rotation

-Ensure the maintenance of equipment, displays and work area

-Receive and store merchandise in accordance with the company’s established standards

-Comply with government health and safety standards and occupational health and safety standards.

 

Qualifications

– Completion of secondary school

– Relevant experience is an asset
