Overview

West Lynn Bakery is seeking a Store Supervisor for our North Vancouver location.

 

Permanent, full-time; 40 hours per week; $23 per hour.

 

Standard 8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 8am and 5:30pm as required.

 

Duties:

·      Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule day-to-day production activities;

·      Draw up production schedules;

·      Handle daily operations of the bakery department, including budgeting;

·      Prepare production and other reports;

·      Train workers to perform and follow job duties, safety procedures and company policies;

·      Maintain records of stock, sales, wastage and resolve customer issues;

·      Operate cash register;

·      Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods;

·      Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.

 

Requirements:

·      Secondary school completion required;

·      Minimum 1 year experience working in a bakery store or a related area required;

·      Prior experience in hospitality industry is an asset;

·      English language ability is required;

·      Willing to work on the weekend.
