Job Title: Cook

Location: 1399 West 7th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6H 1B8 Canada

Number of Vacancies: 2

Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Wage: $17.62-18.00 per hour

Vacation: 4% of gross salary OR 10 days paid vacation

 

Job responsibilities:

– Prepare and cook sandwiches, wraps, and any other menus

– Prep ingredients vegetables and sauces

– Create and develop food menus and determine size of food portion and price.

– Maintain inventory and order kitchen supplies

– Clean kitchen and sanitize kitchen equipment

– Set up kitchen operations

 

Qualifications and skills required:

– At least 2 years of experience in Cooking OR Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks OR completion of college OR other program in cooking /food safety

– Completion of Secondary School

– College & Diploma in the related field is a strong asset

– Fluent in English
