Job Description
We are a warm and busy family in Vancouver seeking a reliable and experienced child caregiver to support the daily care and supervision of our children in a safe, loving home environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is patient, well-organized, and passionate about working with children. You will play a key role in our household, helping with caregiving duties and supporting the children’s emotional and social development.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and care for children in the employer’s home
Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Maintain a safe and healthy environment
Tend to emotional well-being of children
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Organize and lead age-appropriate activities (games, outings, crafts)
Discipline children as per parents’ methods
Perform light housekeeping related to child care
Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
Requirements
Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience
At least 1 year of child care experience
Valid CPR and First Aid Certificate
Criminal record check required
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday
8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
On-site, non-smoking work environment
