Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Number of Positions needed: 1

Wages: $23 per hour, 35 hours per week

Benefits: 10 days paid vacation and 5 days paid sick leave per year

 

We’re hiring a full-time Live-in Caregiver to care for a 70 years old male who has just recently undergone lung surgery, and needs care and support at home.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

·        Observe and report symptoms such as persistent coughing, shortness of breath, Chest pain, or fever etc.
·        Remind and help with prescribed medications, and any oxygen therapy
·        Prepare easy-to-digest meals that help healing and in line with doctor’s advice
·        Assist with moving around, walking, and physical therapy activities
·        Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe living environment.
·        Accompany senior to follow-up medical appointments

·         Able to handle emergencies calmly

 

Work Experience

·         Experience an asset, will provide training

Education:

·         Secondary school education is required
