Job Description:

Job Title: Barista
Employer: YELLOW MUG COFFEE INC. dba Waves Coffee House – Robson

Work Location: 211 Robson St, Vancouver, BC V6B 0E7

Business Address: Same as above

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Wage: $16.75 – $18.00 per hour (to be negotiated)

Benefit:  10 days paid vacation or 4% gross salary for vacation remuneration

Hours of work: 30- 40 hours per week.

Vacant: 1

Language: English

 

Duties:

– Take customers’ orders.

– Process cash register payments by cash, cheque, credit card, gif card and debit.

– Prepare non-alcoholic drinks including espresso, tea, cold beverages, and etc.

– Maintain a clean working area, appliances an dutensils.

– Maintain stock levels and bar supplies.

– Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

Education: No formal education is required, but completion of the barista course is considered a strong asset.

Experience:

No formal education is required as on the job training is provided.

1-2 years of experience in related field is considered a strong asset.
