Yorkville Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is looking for a Personal Support Worker!

 

Job Description:

– Position: Personal Support Worker – Nursing Care

– Employer: Meisami-Fard Professional Corporation dba Yorkville Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

– Work Location: 130 Bloor St W #701, Toronto, ON M5S 1N5

– Business Address: Same as above

– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

– Wage: $21.00-25.00 per hour (To be negotiated)

– Working Hours: 36-40 hours per week

– Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

– Language: English

Job Duties:

– Assist with cleaning, sterilizing and organizing medical equipment and tools.

– Perform maintenance of traction equipment, cleaning or sterilizing equipment

– Carry out additional tasks related to patient care and comfort.

– Transport patients by using a wheelchair or stretcher.

– Maintain stocks for dental supplies.

 

Job Requirements:

– Education: Completion of secondary school education combined with on-the-job training, or a personal support worker, nursing aide or health care aide college or private institutional program, or a college nursing orderly program and supervised practical training are required.

 

– Experience: No formal experience is required but is an asset.

 

– Completion of specialized course (CPR and first aid) is required.
