Position: Meatcutter

Wage: $23.00 per hour

Employment term: Full-time, Permanent

Working hours: 30 hours ~ 40 hours per week

Number of Positions: 5

Benefit: 4% of gross salary OR 10 days paid vacation as a vacation reimbursement.

Language: English

 

Job Duties:

l  Cut, bone and prepare standard cuts of meat and poultry.

l  Grind and slice meats using powered grinders and slicing machines.

l  Shape, lace and tie roasts and other meats and poultry.

l  Manage inventory of meat records and determine amount, product freshness according to company requirements.

l  Make sure food storage conditions are adequate at the required temperature.

 

Skill Requirements:

·         Education: No formal education is required, but completion of high school is preferred.

·         Experience: No formal experience is required as on the job training is provided. Related work experience as a meatcutter is an asset.
