Job Title: Hairstylist

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Compensation: $16.15 per hour

Hours of Work: 30-40 hour per week

Vacant: 2

Benefits: 15 days paid vacations or 5.77% Vacation fee renumeration

Language: English

 

Duties:

-Advise clients on stylistic options for their hair.

-Cut and trim hair based on client’s instructions or preferences.

-Provide a range of hair treatments including waving, straightening, and scalp massages.

-Utilize specialized equipment for various perms such as Digital perm, Straight perm, -Repair heating perm, Clinic perm and other special perms.

-Provide bleach, dye, and hair tinting services.

 

Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Hairstylist OR Completion of a two-year vocational school for hairstylist is required.

Hairstylist Trade Certification is required, or if Hairstylist Trade Certification is in progress, the learner’s certificate is required as a hairstylist.
