Responsibilities:
– Utilize manual and electric appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
– Keep records of the quantities of food used while stocking refrigerators and salad bars.
– Prepare take-out food by portioning, assembling, and wrapping or placing it directly on plates for patrons.
– Attend to customers’ orders.
– Prepare hot beverages like coffee and tea specialties using appropriate equipment.
– Prepare fast food items, including sandwiches, hamburgers, fries, salads, ice cream dishes, milkshakes, and other beverages, using deep fryers, grills, ovens, dispensers, and other equipment.
– Provide service to patrons by serving them at counters or buffet tables.
– Receive payment for purchased food items as necessary.
