Job Description:

Position: Cook

Employer: 671348 N.B. INC. dba Japan Go Restaurant

Work Location: 687 Main St, Moncton, NB E1C 1E3

Business Address: Same as above

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

Wage: $15.00-$22.00 per hour (to be negotiated)

Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

Job Duties:

– Prepare and make various types of Japanese dishes on the menu.

– Complete Japanese dishes in various utensils, or grillers.

– Arrange and garnish dishes.

– Train and supervise kitchen staff.

– Check food stocks and order to maintain food supplies.

– Clean and inspect the kitchen area.

 

Job Requirements:

– Education: Completion of high school is required

– Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of cooking experience OR completion of college or other programs in cooking or food safety is required.
