We, ACONNECT INC., is looking for a permanent, full-time Software Engineer to join our dynamic team!

 

Position: Software engineer (NOC 21231)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time, Day, Morning, Afternoon

Hourly Wage: $46.15 – 47.00 (30 – 40 hours per week)

Expected Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Location: 1431 40 Ave NE, Unit 17 Calgary, AB T2E 8N6

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

·         Develop high-quality software design and architecture

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

·         Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code

·         Troubleshoot and debug software issues

·         Conduct unit testing and integration testing

·         Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards

·         Evaluate and recommend solutions and decision making

·         Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer programming, computer systems engineering, software engineering or a related field

·         At least 2 year of work experience

·         Familiarity and understanding in Computer Software/IT

·         Strong organization and effective interpersonal skills

·         Accurate, Team player
