Overview

Akedo Showten, located in Langley B.C., is seeking a Cook to join their team.

Permanent, full-time; $17.00 per hour; 30 to 40 hours per week.

Extended Health and Dental Benefits are included.Bonus depending on work performance.

Standard 6-8 hours shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 9:30am to 10pm as required.

 

Duties:

– Cooking everything on the menu;

– Prepare Ramen ingredients and other Japanese food;

– Inspecting ingredients for quality and freshness and supervising all food

– preparation;

– Giving training to new cooking and kitchen sta” on matters of hygiene;

– Japanese ramen techniques, and other matters.

 

Requirements:

– Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience as a commercial cook;

– Previous experience with Japanese ramen cuisine is an asset;

– Japanese language ability is an asset;

– English language ability required.
