Job Duties:

·         Care for toddler, prepare and serve healthy nutritious meals and snack;

·         Oversee children’s activities, as instructed by employer;

·         Supervise and care for children in the absence of parents;

·         Keep children in personal hygiene and social development;

·         Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents;

·         Maintain a healthy environment in the home;

·         Keep children occupied in appropriate activities such as games;

·         Take children to and from school and to appointments;

·         Provide a safe and supportive environment;

·         Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding child; and

·         Assume full responsibility of the household in the absence of the parents.

Requirements:

·         Completion of Secondary School.

·         Completion of a training program in childcare or a related field will be an asset.

·         One-year experience is required in the related field.
