Work location: Various locations in Grassy Lake and surrounding areas.

Vacancies: 1 Vacancy

Salary: $20.00/ Hour for 36 – 44 Hours / Week

Employment conditions: early morning, morning, day, weekend, holiday days

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Start date: As soon as possible.

Other: Subject to wage increase and incentives

 

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.

Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, team player, hardworking.

 

Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials; Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades; Mix, pour and spread materials; Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs; Assist in demolishing building structures; Clean and pile salvaged materials; Perform routine maintenance work; Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants; Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites; Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction; Direct traffic at or near construction sites; Read and interpret blueprints.

 

Work Setting: Various locations, urban area, remote location, rural area, construction site

Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is not available

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, at heights, confined spaces, noisy, dusty, hot

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, physically demanding, tight deadlines, manual dexterity, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination.

Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
