Job Title: Senior Administrative Assistant, Tax

 

Number of Positions: 2

 

Salary: $23.08 to $34.87/hr. The successful candidate is eligible for overtime pay, per the provincial overtime hourly rate. Salaries are reviewed on a yearly basis and effective January 1 of each year.

 

Benefits: Standard company benefits. The successful candidate will have access to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, accident death and dismemberment as well as short and long term disability effective as of their first day of service.

 

Vacation: 25 days paid time off

Our Montreal office is looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant to join the Tax Services group and own the following responsibilities:

 

Provide support to a team of Partners and professionals.
Type and format correspondence, reports or other documents based on drafts, including correction of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Maintain Partners’ billing records.
Plan and organize internal and external appointments, conferences, meetings.
Perform administrative tasks related to the department’s operations such as research, coordination of special events, updating documents, and filing.
At peak periods, help with the printing of T1 forms (personal federal and provincial taxes) and T2 forms (corporate federal and provincial taxes) and process their electronic filing.

Your experience and education

 

At least 2 years of professional work experience.
You have experience in secretarial work.
You have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Outlook.
You have excellent verbal and written communications skills in French.
You have a professional attitude at all times, focused on internal and external client service.
You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
