Position: Floor Covering Installer

Employer: Canadoo Tile & Floors INC.

Working Location: Within Lower Mainland, BC

Wage: $26.86 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working hours: 30~40 hours per week

Number of Positions: 15

Benefit : 10 days of paid vacation or 4% of vacation pay

Language : English

 

Job Duties:

·         Prepare floors for installations ; measure and cut underlay and underpadding

·         Measure, cut and install various types of floor martial (such as hardwood, laminate floor, vinyl tile and etc.) on floors

·         Be able to measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings using different tools

·         Be able to inspect and fix damaged floor covering

·         Be able to handle different types of device such as machine stitcher, seaming iron, bonding tape or other bonding materials, in order to install carpet on the floor

 

Job requirements:

·         Completion of high school is required

·         Completion of a 2-3 year apprenticeship program OR a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a relevant field is required
