Job Description:

Job Title: Renovation Contractor

Work Location: Within metro Vancouver

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Hours of work: 30~40 hours per week

Wage: $24.00 per hour

Number of Position: 1

Benefits: 10 days of paid vacation or 4% of vacation pay

Language: English

 

Job Duties:

– Plan, organize, and manage constructions on both new and old residential homebuilding.

– Provide and consult with clients regarding specific renovation plan and accurate estimate cost.

– Inspect work completed by sub-contractors to ensure quality and specification with plans.

– Supervise sub-contractors including tilesetter, floor covering installer etc.

– Plan a work schedule for completion of specific tasks.

– Prepare and maintain a directory of trade subcontractors.

 

Job Requirements:

– Experience: 2-3 years of work experience in the home construction industry, including experience as a general supervisor.

– Education: Completion of High School
