Position: Electronic Service Technician (NOC 22311)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Morning, Day, Afternoon, Weekend, Shift, To be determined

Wage: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: 802 16 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2R 0S9

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

•       Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electronic devices including smartphones, tablets & ipads, computers and other gadgets

•       Uninstall electronic devices, conduct a thorough inspection of all components from the PCB to the analog circuit to address any significant issues.

•       Install, update and update systems and applications

•       Quality control and testing of repaired electronic devices to ensure full functionality

•       Identify customer needs and provide suitable recommendations for repairs, and additional options/services

•       Communicate with the customer to explain technical issues and provide technical advice in an easy way to understand, helpful manner

•       Maintain an accurate record of customer information and service status

•       May train and supervise new technicians

•       Organize, receive stock, and manage inventories

•       Other related duties as assigned/required

 

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

·       College diploma in electrical or electronics engineering technology, computer engineering technology, telecommunications technology or in a related field or equivalent work experience

·       More than 2 years of work experience

·       Familiarity and understanding in electronic devices

·       Strong organization and effective interpersonal skills

·       Accurate, Team player, Client focus, Organized
