Cook

 

Delhi 6 Indian Bistro Ltd. located in Vancouver BC requires a full time Cook to join its team as soon as possible.

 

Main Duties of Job:

•        Prepare both veg and non-veg dishes as per restaurant menu.

•        Prepare sauces and dips.

•        Supervise kitchen helpers.

•        Responsible for making sure that food quality is as per required standards.

•        Make sure kitchen is clean and sanitized as per by laws.

•        May hire and Train kitchen staff when required.

•        Maintain inventory and records of food and other supplies.

•        Perform other duties as requested by management.

Job Requirements:

·         Completion of secondary school

·         1 year of experience in cooking
Or
Completion of college or other program in cooking

Or

Completion of 3 years of apprenticeship program for Cooks

 

Language Requirement: English

 

Job Location: 1766 West 7th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V6J 4Z9

 

Salary: $16.25/hr for 40hrs/week
