Overview

Devil’s Elbow & smoke house Jackson’s Resto Butcher is seeking a Restaurant Manager for two of our restaurants.

Permanent, full-time; 30-40 hours per week; $27.50 per hour.  Health and dental benefit are optional after 6 months’ probation. Bonus depends on sales performance.

Standard 6-8-hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 10:30am and 12am as required.

Duties:

–       Completes and posts the staff work schedules.

–       Recruits, rewards, and recommends termination of staff, as needed.

–       Supervises food preparation to ensure that food safety and operations standards are maintained.

–       Supervises a staff of f approximately 40. Assigns, oversees and evaluates work. Recommends promotion and transfer of employees. May conduct written and verbal staff evaluations.

–       Assists with planning of special events and promotions.

–       Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

 

Requirements:

–        3-5 years food service experience.

–       At least 1-2 years supervisor experience.

–       English language required.

–       Completion of college related hospitality or food service management is asset.
