Overview
Job title- In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment- This job is for a full-time position (between 32 and 40 hours per week). Flexible hours are required. Weekend work is required. English or French. Job starts as soon as possible
Salary- Wage offered is between $14.25 and 19.00 per hour.
Location- ShEi… lives in the city of Cote St-Luc, in Quebec. The condo apartment is situated in a residential neighbourhood, a shopping mall / park is nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (bus # 161). The major intersection is Cavendish Boul. + Mackle Road.
Duties may include:
1- This job is to care for an elderly woman who suffer from Alzheimer, limited mobility, and partial hearing loss.
2- Provide companionship and supervision
3- Help with personal hygiene and bathing
4- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required
5- General housework that will include doing laundry, and dusting
6- Will require working with another caregiver
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education.
2- Must have at least one year of work related experience as a caregiver. Must understand needs of an Alzheimer patient
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, patient and able to manage the job without supervision.
4 – there are 2 caregivers sharing the week. Each worker works 4 days per week at 10 hours per day.
