Overview
Job title- In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment- This job is for a full-time position (40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start date is June 1, 2023
Language- French or English.
Salary- Wage offered is between $15.25 and $16.00 per hour. If minimum wage is paid, the wage will be adjusted when the provincial wage changes.
Location- Mrs. RaMo.. lives in the city of Hampstead, in Montreal area of Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (bus # 51). The major intersection of the residence is: Queen Mary Rd and Stratford.
Duties may include:
1- This job is to help with the care of three children aged 9, 7, and 4 years old.
2- Supervision of child when parents are not at home,
3- Prepare child for after school activities,
4- Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents,
5- Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development,
6- Plan, prepare and serve meals for child. Kitchen clean-up is also required,
7- General housework that will include doing laundry, ironing school uniforms.
8- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education.
2- Must have at least one year of work related experience as a caregiver.
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision.
