Overview
In-Home Caregiver/Nanny needed for baby and toddler (4 and 6 months) for Kalen family. $17.17-$19.00 per hour for a 40 hr work week. Salary depends on experience. Overtime occasionally required from 45-48 hrs and would be paid at 1.5 x per hour. Two days off per week on Saturday and Sunday. One year of relevant professional childcare experience required. Minimum of Equivalent Canadian High School diploma required. Must be flexible. Job hours–9:00 am-5:00 pm. Mid day break. Job located in Toronto(Bayview & Bloor). English language spoken and written, required. Work to take place in employer’s home.
Supervise and care for children in employer’s residence. Bathe, dress, plan, cook meals and feed child. Light housekeeping for children. Oversee activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Instruct baby in personal hygiene. Tend to the emotional well-being of baby and support social development. Discipline children according to the methods requested. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings.
Good communication and decision making skills are essential. MUST BE FLEXIBLE
