Job Description:

– Position: Bookkeeper

– Employer: Four Seasons Insulation Ltd.

– Work Location: 25588 60 Avenue, Langley Twp, BC V4W 1H1

– Business Address: Same as above

– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

– Wage: $ 26.11 per hour

– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week

– Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

– Language: English

Job Duties:

– Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

– Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, which provide a snapshot of the company’s financial health and performance.

– Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills.

– Ensure that the company follows all tax laws and regulations, and that all tax payments and filings are made on time.

– Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports.

– Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers’ compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents.

 

Job Requirements:

– Education: Completion of high school is required.

– Experience: Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or completion of two years of a recognized professional accounting program or courses in accounting or bookkeeping OR equivalent experience is required.
