Job Position: Construction Labourer and Helper
Employer: Gumban Roofing and Renovations
Location: 323 Lipton, Winnipeg, MB R3G 2H2
Salary: $20.00 / hour
Number of positions: 3 vacancies
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, full time, 40 hours/week
Start date: As soon as possible
Employment Conditions: Day, Flexible Hours, Morning, Overtime, Weekend
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work site environment: Outdoors, At heights, Noisy, Dangerous, Dusty, Hot
Work setting: Various locations, Residential renovation
Tasks:
• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Perform various trade work during home construction or renovation activities
•Install, repair or replace single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as
modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
• Install, repair or replace shingles, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of
buildings
