Howard Johnson Inn is looking for a full-time, permanent Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team.

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week), Shi􀁹, Weekend, (Early) Morning, Day, Afternoon, Night
Hourly Wage: $25.00
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: 1165 Muskoka Rd S, Gravenhurst, ON P1P 1K6
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervises, coordinates and schedules the activities of housekeeping attendants
• Oversees, assigns and reviews the work of housekeeping staff
• Trains and mentors new and current employees in workplace safety and job duties
• Communicates/updates all goals and results with employees
• Performs housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning the windows, scouring bathrooms, changing sheets and towels, managing laundry, and keeping the place neat and tidy
• Cleans, disinfects and stores all cleaning equipment at the end of the shift
• Promptly responds to client needs and resolves guests’ complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services
• Informs the manager/director if any accidents or problems occur while performing cleaning services
• Other duties assigned by the manager/director

Position Requirements and Qualifications
 Completion of secondary school is required
 More than 7 months of work experience in housekeeping or related area
 Flexibility; Initiative; Judgement; Reliablity
