Job Position: Sale Supervisor

Salary: $20.00/hour

Number of positions: 1 vacancy

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, 40 hours/week

Start date: As soon as possible

Employment conditions: Morning, Day, Evening

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 2 year to less than 3 years

Work setting: Rural area, Retail business

 

Personal suitability:

Accurate, Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Team player

 

Tasks:

◇   Assign sales workers to duties

◇   Hire and train or arrange for training of staff

◇   Authorize payments by cheque

◇   Order Merchandise

◇   Authorize return of merchandise

◇   Establish work schedules

◇   Sell merchandise

◇   Prepare reports on sale volumes, merchandising and personnel matters

◇   Organize and maintain inventory

◇   Resolve problems that arise such as customer complaints and supply shortage

◇   Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers

 

Supervision:

Retail Salespersons and Sales Clerks

 

Work conditions and physical capabilities:

Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods.
