We are currently looking to hire one (1) full-time (30-40 hours per week) Store Supervisor
to join our team of professionals. The successful candidate will be required to work at our downtown
Toronto, Ontario location.
Duties:
Oversee and supervise salespeople, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other sales staff
Organize workflow and allocate work duties to sales staff members, including shift scheduling
Record and control return of merchandise
Approve payments, correct pricing mistakes and administer refunds
Evaluate inventory, coordinate order and delivery of merchandise
Check and report on inventory numbers, supply, and availability of merchandise, and staff
member issues
Recruit and train new sales staff members, monitoring and evaluating employee productivity and
performance
Monitor shelve stocks and product displays, and the general appearance of the store, ensuring
proper store set up and cleanliness
Address customers’ requests, comments, and complaints, as well as supply-related issues
Requirements:
• Work experience: 7 months to 1 year of work experience in retail sales is preferred
• Language: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Benefits: 10 business days of vacation time per year
Salary: $21.00 to $23.00/hour (To be negotiated)
