Overview

Kitanoya Marketing Corp. (dba Guu Davie) is seeking an Assistant Cook for our Davie location.

Permanent, Full-time; $17.62 per hour; 30-40 hours per week. Bonus available based on sales performance.

Standard 6-8 hour shift could be schedule anytime between 10am and 1am as required.

Duties:
– Prepare and cook according to recipes, quality and presentation standards;
– Prepare ingredients for specialty items;
– Prepare and cook specialty foods such as pastries and create decorative food displays;
– Create and prepare all pastry items;
– Come up with recipe ideas from scratch;
– Plan the dessert and pastry menu.

Requirements:
– Minimum 1 year of previous experience as a commercial baker;
– Experience with Japanese desserts are an asset;
– English language ability is required;
– Japanese language ability is an asset.
