Location: 1450 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4J 1N4

Salary: $16.00 hourly

Languages: English

Experience: 2-3 years experience cooking (preferred). Experience in Ethiopian/Eritrean cuisine is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

-Must have knowledge of basic cooking principles and basic methods on preparing stocks, soups, and sauces.

-Must have the ability to prepare food plates as ordered in a timely and efficient manner.

-Ensure that all out-going orders meet the required standards in appearance and quality.

-To maintain and monitor high standard in quality, equipment cleanliness, maintenance, and practice exceptional work and food safety.

-Must have a profound knowledge and experience with the various cooking spices used in Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine and understand the subtleties of flavour pairings.
