Overview

Launchpad Early Learning Centre Ltd is hiring an administrative assistant for their company located at 1006 – 1189 Eastwood St, Coquitlam, BC, V3B 7N5

 

This is a full-time and permanent position.

 

The duties of the administrative assistant will be as follows

·       Schedule and manage staff meetings and maintain minutes

·       Schedule and manage student intakes and parent tours of our facility

·       Prepare and proofread all correspondence, newsletters reports and invoices

·       Update and maintain company policies handbook

·       Train staff on daycare policies and procedures

·       Co-ordinate information among other employees

·       Receive and record parent complaints and inform management

·       Maintain inventory and order supplies as required

·       Respond to all enquiries in person, electronic and through phone calls

·       Maintain information filing system

·       Schedule and manage practicum student intakes

 

 

Education Required

·      Completion of a post secondary school is required

·      Certificate or diploma in a related field will be as asset

 

 

Experience Required

·      Minimum one year of relevant experience is required

 

Wage and benefits

·      Wage being offered is $25.50 per hour.

·      Extended health benefit

·      Paid vacation

·      Paid sick days

 

Hours of work

·      Minimum 40 hours per week

·      Must be willing to work flexible hours and on weekends

 

This position is open to indigenous persons, vulnerable youth and newcomers to Canada.
