Job Title: Carpenter Helper

Employer: Mannco Contracting Ltd.

Work Location: within Metro Vancouver (lower mainland, BC)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time, (part-time is also available)

Vacancy: 5

Hours of Work: 30~40hrs per week

Wage: $25.00/hour

Benefit: 4% of vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation per year.

Hand tools will be provided.

Language: English

 

l  Job Duties:

-Load, unload and transport construction materials.

-Mix, pour and spread materials.

-Assist in drilling blasting rock on construction sites.

-Gather materials for workers such as carpenters to handle on job sites.

-Keep job sites clean and machines serviced.

-Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw.

-Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.

 

l  Job Requirements:

Education: No formal education is required.

Experience: Experience as a carpenter helper is an asset.
