Overview

Marutama Food Services Ltd. (dba Maruhachi Ra-men Coquitlam) is seeking a Head Cook.

Permanent, Full-time; (30-40 hours per week), $20.00/per hour, plus bonus available based on sales performance.  Extended healthcare benefits are optional.
Standard 6-8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 9am and 11pm as required

Duties:
– Cooking everything on the menu;
– Prepare Ramen ingredients and other Japanese food;
– Inspecting ingredients for quality and freshness and supervising all food preparation.

Qualifications:

– Minimum 3 years of previous experience as a commercial cook;
– Previous experience with Japanese ramen cuisine is an asset.
– Japanese language ability is an asset;
– English language ability is required.
