Compensation : $23.00 – $25.00 per hour (to be negotiated)

Hours of work : 30~40 hours/week

Vacant : 5

Benefits: 10 days paid vacation OR 4% of gross salary

 

 

Job Duties

– Assist to make layouts according to building codes, using measuring tools.

– Measure, cut, shape assemble and join wood products.

– Fit and install trim items such as doors, window, moldings, and hardware.

– Assist carpenters to build foundations.

– Clean up construction sites, chemical spills, and other contaminants and remove asbestos and other hazardous materials.

– Do other duties as assigned by carpenters.

 

Job Requirements

– Experience: Experience as a general construction helper is an asset. Job training will be available on the site.

– Language: Functional English language is required for this position.

– Education: No formal education is required.
