Job Duties:

·       Smooth gouges with wood filler and sand wood

·       Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted

·       Mix paint to desired colour and texture

·       Sand metal furniture to prepare for finish and spray with paint or other materials

·       Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics

·       Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes

·       Clean and maintain equipment

·       Select appropriate paint or mix paints

Work conditions and Physical Capabilities:

·       Attention to detail

·       Hand-eye co-ordination

·       Ability to distinguish between colours

·       Bending, crouching, kneeling

·       Physically demanding

Skills & Experience:

·       Relevant work experience is an asset, but not necessary.

·       Will provide proper training.

Wage & Hours: $23.00 – $24.00 per hour, 5 days – 40 hours per week. Overtime pays $34.50 – $36.00 after 40 hours per week.

Benefits: 10 days paid vacation per year. 4% Renumeration.
