Nubo Enterprise Ltd. dba Nubo Japanese Tapas restaurant, at 739 Pandora Ave., Victoria, is looking for a Cook.

 

Salary: $23-$26/Hourly

Job Type: Full-Time, 40hrs/wk, Permanent

Position Available: 1

Main duties:

•Prepare and cook Japanese food according to recipes and customers’ requests

•Recruit, train and supervise new kitchen staff

•Set up kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking and cleanness

•Direct whole cooking processes and other kitchen management

•Create seasonal, cost-effective menu and specials of the day.

•Clean kitchen and work area.

•Maintain inventory, safety and records of food, supplies and equipment.

•Ensure operation level of profitability and client satisfaction.

•Plan menu, determine size of food portions and estimate food cost and requirements.

 

Requirements:

•Minimum 3-5 years of cook experience

•Japanese cooking experience is to be preferred

•Completion of Secondary School

• Friendly and team-oriented person

•English is required
