Overview

We, Nuwavez Cabinet Industry Corporation, are looking for a passionate candidate for the position of full-time bookkeeper.

 

Position: Bookkeeper (NOC 12200)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week), Morning, Day

Hourly Wage: $28.85-30.00

Expected Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Location: 110, 2620 Centre Ave NE, Calgary, AB T2A 2L3

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

·         Balance general ledgers by preparing the trial balance of books; journal entries, reconciling entries

·         Process payment orders and fund transfers

·         Prepare month and/or year-end financial reports and statements

·         Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

·         Reconcile accounts and reports

·         Responsible for payroll processing and accounting

·         Record revenue and cost of sales calculations

·         Complete Books to a level ready for tax returns

·         Complete and submit tax remittance forms and other government forms

·         Conduct daily both in/external banking activities

 

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

·         A College diploma or equivalent experience

·         1-2 years of proven work experience in accounting/bookkeeping

·         Accurate; Efficient interpersonal skills; Judgement; Organized; Reliability;

Team player
