Job duties:
· Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices
· Resolve inquiries, including issuing debits & and credits to resolve discrepancies and answering invoicing-related questions.
· Maintain and update all inbound and outbound shipping records and related reports ensuring accurate inventory counts at all locations.
· Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filling systems.
· Update and adjust sales orders per approval.
· Open and distribute incoming invoices to ensure accuracy from external stakeholders and forward them to Accounts Payable for payment.
· Resolve inquiries, including issuing debits and credits to resolve discrepancies and answering invoicing related questions.
· Communicate with Olympic Traders to confirm all details within the trade ensuring that all files are accurate and up to date.
· Assist in the month-end closing procedures.
· May cross-training support to new hires and trader trainees.
Education and Experience
· Completion of Post Secondary Education related to Business or International Business
· 2 years of related work experience in a fast-paced environment.
· Administrative experience in the lumber industry is considered an asset.
