Framing Carpenter
One Plus One Construction Ltd located in Surrey, BC is looking for a Framing Carpenter to join its team.
Responsibilities:
· Determine specifications and calculate requirements.
· Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes.
· Using measuring tools, measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
· Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub flooring, erect walls and roof systems.
· Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware.
· Maintain, repair and renovate residences, wooden structures in residential and commercial buildings.
· May supervise apprentices and other construction workers.
Language Requirement: English
Eligibility Requirements:
· Completion of secondary school is required.
· At least 2 years of experience in the trade
OR
3 to 4-year apprenticeship program in carpentry
Compensation: $30.00/hour for 40 hours/week
Location: Diff erent Location in Lower Mainland Area, BC
