Overview

Job Title – Marketing Specialist

 

Salary and Benefits: $32.69 –$33.50 hourly, 30-40 hours weekly

Experience:

  • A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, museology or a discipline related to a particular subject matter.
  • More than two years of experience in marketing.
  • More than two years of experience in CRM products
  • Experience in planning and execution of events.

Detailed Skills and Duties

1.    Marketing skills

  • Develop strategies and related content for direct and digital marketing and advertising campaigns.
  • Maintain email lists and monitor campaign performance
  • Handle qualified leads by scheduling meetings with the sales team and managing the relationship until they become a client.
  • Work with different cultural groups, especially Middle Eastern investors and residents in Canada with Pakistan or Arab origins.
  • Understand the sales cycle, especially lead, deal, accounting, and products, and which department is responsible for the activity and communication.
  • Schedule meetings with the right person within the company.
  • Define scripts to reply by email or call to answer leads’ and clients’ questions.

2.    Digital Marketing

  • Develop and maintain social media accounts, including managing customer reviews and testimonials
  • Coordinate special publicity events.
  • Experience with Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn
  • In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search, retargeting, social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more), and content distribution and placement networks
  • Campaign budget management skills.
  • Manage post campaign analysis to measure and report on marketing and advertising metrics
  • Manage staff and contractors participating in the digital marketing campaign

3.    Public Relations

  • Develop, implement and evaluate public relations strategies and programs designed to inform clients, employees and the general public of initiatives and policies of businesses, governments and other organization
  • Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys to identify the interests and concerns of key groups served by their organization.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
