Accounting Technician

 

We are looking for a permanent and full-time Accounting Technician to join Pacific Sands Apartment Partnership.

Job Responsibilities:

·        Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems

·        Keep journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers

·        Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends

·        Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for other bills

·        Complete and submit tax remittance forms and other government documents

·        Prepare tax returns and perform other bookkeeping duties

Requirements:

·          Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field

·          At least two years of experience as a financial or accounting experience are required.

·          Language of work : English

Wage/Working Hours/Benefit/Vacation:

·       Wage: $30.28/hr

·       Hour: 40.00 hrs/week

·       Permanent and Full-time position

·       Benefit: Extended health care
