Pet Valu Coopers Crossing is looking for permanent, full-time Retail Sales Clerks to join our dynamic team!

Position: Retail Sales Clerk (NOC 64100)

Vacancies: 2

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week)

Hourly Wage: $16.00 – $18.00

Work Location: unit 1001 401 Cooper’s Blvd, Airdrie AB, T4B 4J3

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Greeting customers when they enter the store

·         Answering customers’ questions to help them find the items they are looking for

·         Suggesting new items or providing advice to customers based on the selections

·         Operating cash registers and other equipment

·         Packaging or bagging products for customers

·         Using software to record sales, customer contact information, shipping information, and other data

·         Calculating bill amounts and creating bills, invoices, or receipts

·         Informing customers about financing options, return policies, and other details

·         Re-shelving returned items and deciding when to discount them

·         Creating reports for supervisors

 

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

·         Experience in sales or Knowledge and a good understanding of products about pet food, nutrition, and pet services as an asset

·         Ability to build and maintain a good relationship with customers

·         Good oral communication and Efficient interpersonal skills

·         Goal-oriented; Team player; Client focus;
