Job Title: Truck/ Trailer Mechanic

Salary: $34.00 per hour, for 40.00 hours per week

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Overtime, Weekend

Start Date: As soon as possible

Primary Business Location: 11411 Shell Road, Richmond, BC V7A 3W7

Minimum Education: High School an asset.

Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Work Conditions: Work outside, travel alone or a three-man unit in a company van to the location of the caller to fix the truck trailer at the location.

Language: Basic English

Job Duties:
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
• Adjust, repair or replace chassis, frame, cab, body, engine and drive train, air brakes, steering, and fuel
• Fix, Clean & maintain electrical, electronic parts and ABS system.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized repair equipment
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
• Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups
